We can build homes that survive devastating hurricanes. Images of FORTIFIED homes left standing give stark proof that wind resilience works—at any price point. It takes vision, a hard look at the likely reality of increasingly powerful storms hitting vulnerable areas, and a commitment to building right the first time. This session looked at what building stronger means and showed the financial incentives available to reduce losses and help people and communities survive catastrophic weather events.
