NEW YORK, May 7, 2013 鈥 As the start of a new hurricane season approaches, Spanish-speaking consumers with questions about disaster preparedness and the details of their auto, homeowners, flood insurance and business insurance policies can call a hotline, hosted by WXTV Univision 41, the evening of Thursday, May 9
th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Spanish-speaking volunteers from the
杏吧原创 Information Institute (I.I.I.) and the (L.A.B.A.) will be available to answer questions and provide information about insurance coverage.

The insurance hotline was created due to the high number of Hispanic consumers in the tri-state area requesting information regarding their insurance in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.

鈥淣oticias Univision 41鈥 (Univision 41 News), including 鈥淯nivision 鈥 (Univision 41 On Your Side) regularly inform and empower consumers with resources and information, including those affected by disasters. 听WXTV Univision 41 is the leading Spanish-language television station in the New York area. To support the efforts of WXTV, the I.I.I. and L.A.B.A. are providing Spanish-language insurance experts to respond to phone lines and provide consumers with preparedness tips and insurance related information.
